First Day of School!!

Like usual I am behind Sydney and Layton had their first day of school a week ago on Wednesday. They both were so excited! We transferred Sydney to a different school and already we like it so much better. It's nice not to worry about a head check for lice everyday!! Sydney really likes her teacher and has said that she thinks she talks and acts like grandma Terry. So she must be very nice and lots of fun!! And Layton is gong to a Pre-K program and a retirement center. I am really excited about it, he will have "grandpa and grandma" buddies that will be in the classroom with them.

Utah Visit Again!!

Well we made a last minute trip to Utah just before school started thanks to my wonderful and extremely generous parents. My mom flew out here to Oklahoma and helped me get things ready to go then she drove back with my to Utah with me. We took two days to drive back and stopped at Casabonitas in Denver the restaurant we used to go to when I was little visiting my aunt Jaydene in Denver. It was a great break in the drive and the kids LOVED all the diving shows and exploring the caves. While in Utah my mom had tons of fun things planned for us to do and it was SO nice to be able to get out with the kiddos and have fun together. We went to This Is The Place State Park, the BYU's museum with all the real stuffed animals ( I can't remember what it was called), the Roy aquatic center, camping and playing in Bear Lake. We had a Blast!! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for all the fun. We LOVED being there with you and all the fam!!

4 months old

It's amazing how time flies. Our girls had their 4 month check up this past week
Kinsley was 14lbs 10oz and Miss Maddy was 14lbs 6 oz. They are smiling quite a bit now and loved to be talked to or sung to. Madison giggled for the first time on July 4th and Kinsley giggled the very next day. They both bless with occasionally giggles here and there. Madison also rolled from her belly her back twice this past week, but Kinsley has not yet. They often hold each others hand when they are laying next to each other. It is the cutest thing! They are so much fun. Tyler and I and all the kids love adoring them daily.

Visiting the Rowe's

On our drive home from Utah we stopped in Flagstaff to see our friends from Optometry school. Justin and Lucinda were wonderful friends. I have so many fond memories of our time with them. Sydney loved playing with Jeron and Alena back in the old days and they took no time at all catching up. I was amazed at how well tey remembered each other. Sydney even informed me that Jeron still wanted to marry her and was going to give her 4 wedding rings. So she recommitted to the proposal, I think the 4 rings sold her. Layton was not even 18 months when they moved for their clinical rotations but he jumped right in the play and thought Jeron was so cool. Poor Jackson got sick and threw up at their house and slep most the whole time we were there. We loved the visit and stayed 3 hours longer than we had planned to stay but it was just too much fun catching up. I hope we will get a chance to stop and see them again sometime.

Double the Blessings!

This was such a wonderful day. I am so glad we were able to share it with family. We had a tough time deciding whether to bless the girls in UT or OK. We were concerned about making it too big of a deal and our family having to travel the long distance to Hatch. So hopefully it wasn't too much trouble for everyone. I really enjoyed sharing this special occasion with them. There is just something special about gathering family together. I love it!!
Tyler also did such a wonderful job giving Kinsley and Madison beautiful and unique blessing to each. I was also blessed to have help with my kiddos thanks to grandma and grandpa so I could just enjoy listening to the blessing and write them down.

After spending 1 week in Layton withmy family we traveled down south to Hatch. We were lucky enough that Ryan and Kara accomodated us in the plans for the Barney Fam reunion this year and planned it for the weekend we would be around. We are so glad tey did. It was a lot of fun and we camped just a few miles away from Tylers parents house, which was really nice because trying to get sleep with 3 month old twins can be tough enough without sleeping ina tent, so Jenny and I headed back to house to sleep with our babies in a nice comfy bed. It was so fun thought to watch the kids play with theor cousins and get nice and dirty. Grandma Terry was so cute and sweet and planned a few crafts the kids to do which they loved!!!! They made purses/wallets, little "stain glass" pictures, and cute litle bug catchers. Sydney loved playing with the girls, Jackson loved just being with Dada in the dirt and
Layton loved following around Stuart and Dallin around and they were so nice to let him tag along. He thought they were the coolest! They got together and built a teepee and when all the girls saw how cool it was they told te boys that they could be in their club. I thought that was so funny! It was lots of fun. Although Tyler and I both agreed that it is really hard to sit down realx and really visit with 5 kids.



I just had to capture. Andra was playing with her hosre and th table and Layton just walked up behind her, stood right behind her and put his arms around her and played right with her. Isn't that so cute. Really thought how could he resist Andra with her long eyelashes and tose cute curly locks! I love this picture.
