On our drive home from Utah we stopped in Flagstaff to see our friends from Optometry school. Justin and Lucinda were wonderful friends. I have so many fond memories of our time with them. Sydney loved playing with Jeron and Alena back in the old days and they took no time at all catching up. I was amazed at how well tey remembered each other. Sydney even informed me that Jeron still wanted to marry her and was going to give her 4 wedding rings. So she recommitted to the proposal, I think the 4 rings sold her. Layton was not even 18 months when they moved for their clinical rotations but he jumped right in the play and thought Jeron was so cool. Poor Jackson got sick and threw up at their house and slep most the whole time we were there. We loved the visit and stayed 3 hours longer than we had planned to stay but it was just too much fun catching up. I hope we will get a chance to stop and see them again sometime.

It was so awesome to see your sweet children again, and your adorable baby girls. What an amazing mother you are! I wish we could be living just down the street again. But I'm comforted to know we will always be close no matter where we are living.
