Our summer at Grandma's!! Part 1
We lived with my parents while looking for a house, everything fell through and we are now in a rental building a home. But thtere are many times I wish I was still living with my parents. I loved living there, and all my kiddos loved living there!! I felt so lucky to be near them after so much time away and treasured every minute of it. The only down side was Tyler had to drive an hour to work everyday which was no fun!!
We had lots and lots of fun with cousins, eye ball party for Dad's first day at his new job, we really just played and played!

Goodbye Oklahoma!
I have to admitt, I was maybe too excited to move back home to Utah, but for good reason we are close to family and are loving it!! But there are a few things I really miss..
1- My friends!! I love, love, love living by my fam, but I miss, miss, miss my great friends and my kiddos great friends!!!!
2- The Base pool Summer is now over but I really missed our trips to the base pool!! I loved going there all summer long when we were there.
3- Leonardo's!! I totally took this place forgranted! Especially in the cold winter months when we need to get out to play and explore!!! It was even better when we had the place to ourselves with a couple of good friends!!
4- Our ward! I miss some "great" comments in RS that provided a great laugh, the friendly faces, and sweet old ladies that told me everyweek they wished all their lives they had twins, meeting new people almost everyweek
5- My house, we are still in a rental and looking forward to our house being done, but for now I miss my house and going for walks on the paths in our backyard, soaking in my tub, and my master bath we worked so hard on that I loved!!
6- TYLERS TIME OFF!!!! It was so nice to have a week off at christams, all the holidays off and have him home @ 5 everyday!! Sometimes I wonder what we were thinking to get out of the AF.
April Fools 2010
So I thought it was about time I catch up on my blog. Hopefully we're all caught up by the New Year!!
Here is our April Fools Day Dinner! For dinner we had dessert-Shepherds pie with pink colored mashed potatoes on top. The munchkins were not happy with me, and after one bite of the surprise would not eat anymore, Drink- raspberry jello, they actually did suck some up throught the straw, Dessert- Worms and Dirt Syd and Layton loved this but Jackson refused to eat worms. I added this cute pic of Kinsley on her high chair eating Maddy's food. aren;t they cute!!

5 ! on 5 oh 5!
5 of my favorite things about my 5 year old boy!!
1- His tender heart. I love that Layton cares about others feelings. He is so thougthful!
2- He's a great big brother! Layton is so good to his 2 little sister and brother Jackson. Jackson follows in everywhere he goes and does whatever he is doing. Layton is so kind and patient with him. I love that they are such good friends.
3- Layton is so silly! Whether the things his says or his sweet dance moves and just fooling around, Layton always has a way to make us smile and laugh! He is so much fun!
4- His happy disposition! Layton is such a happy and content little boy and has been since day 1. He just goes about his day and finds things to do or help out with without a word being said. He is very independant and figures things out on his own. Sometimes I worry his siblings steal all the attnetion because he is always just happy and content.
5- He is a mini-Tyler. Layton is just like his dad in so many ways. He looks so much like his dad and acts so much like his Dad. I just feel lucky to be blessed to have him and to learn from him. I Love my Layton!

He requested we have a camping them birthday party so we made a campfire birthday cake, set up the tent in our back yard, and played a fishing game and planned on a bear hunt game but ran out of time. He had so mcuh fun running around and playing with his friends. I am glad he got to celebrate and play with his good friends from Oklahoma, especailly since we moved just a couple weeks later.

Jackson 3rd Birthday
Jackson was so excited for his birthday. He thought everyday for the month prior was his birthdayand would tell us frequently he was turned 'free'! Isn't it just so fun the simple things that bring so much to these little ones!! We had a great day and went ot the train museum in town and just played and had fun all day. Sydney and Layton were both out of school that day so that made it fun for him to have his best playmates all day!!
Jackson is such a fun guy to have around. I love the things he comes up with to say and his spunky personality. He loves his brother and sisters and gives them all lots of kisses and loves, even if he has to tackle them to the ground to do so. He is my partner in everyhting I do and is the best at helping me with my household chores, especially if it means he gets to dump the soap in the laundry or dishwasher! We have had quite an eventful year which I'm sure has left him feeling neglected at times,hopefully he isn't scarred for life. We sure love this guy and love the excitement and fun he brings to our home!
This is our hut we made conference weekend. The kids had a blast decorating the inside of thier "house". they has pictures they colored and hung on the walls, along with beads and toys, and whateevr else they could find.
My two little musicians, maybe they'll get some of that Jensen music gene.

1 year old!!!
It blows my mind that 1 year has already past since my sweet babies girls were born but it has come and gone. They turned 1 on March 5 and I have been meaning to write down my thoughts for a while but there are just not enought hours in the day!!! Their birthday was fun, although Miss Maddy Moo wasn't feeling too well. So she didn't even want to touch her cake, Kinsley however as you can see was in heaven!!! We have never had any of our kids go after their cake like Kins. It was so fun to watch!!! We just wish Maddy could have enjoyed it as much too!! They just had their 1 year check ups and here are their stats:
Kinsley weighs 21 lb 13 oz,and is 29 3/4 in. tall and Maddy weighs 21 lb 8oz, and is 29 3/4 in. tall. I thought it was cool that they are the exact same height and pretty close in weight. It is been so fun to watch them grow together, and see the how they interact together. Just a couple days ago we were on a walk and they would lean over to each other in their stroller and rest their head on the other or give a kiss.
Maddy still has 4 teeth on top and 4 on bottom, Kinsely still only has 3 on top and 3 on bottom. they are really interested in walking but aren't quite there yet, I think we may still be a while to their mothers dismay I am still gonna have to keep packing them around, but at least it's a good workout. They have learned to climb the stairs to Syd's room and love to play up there! Lucky for them they have a sweet sister who loves them to be in her room.The best is that the tubes in their ears seem to be working and I think we are finally over ear infections. Well I'm crossing my fingers, we have offically gone a full month now without them. Poor little things we just hope that trend continues. We love our girls nad are so happy we were blessed with the two of them!!
