Utah Trip Part 2... more to come!

After spending 1 week in Layton withmy family we traveled down south to Hatch. We were lucky enough that Ryan and Kara accomodated us in the plans for the Barney Fam reunion this year and planned it for the weekend we would be around. We are so glad tey did. It was a lot of fun and we camped just a few miles away from Tylers parents house, which was really nice because trying to get sleep with 3 month old twins can be tough enough without sleeping ina tent, so Jenny and I headed back to house to sleep with our babies in a nice comfy bed. It was so fun thought to watch the kids play with theor cousins and get nice and dirty. Grandma Terry was so cute and sweet and planned a few crafts the kids to do which they loved!!!! They made purses/wallets, little "stain glass" pictures, and cute litle bug catchers. Sydney loved playing with the girls, Jackson loved just being with Dada in the dirt and
Layton loved following around Stuart and Dallin around and they were so nice to let him tag along. He thought they were the coolest! They got together and built a teepee and when all the girls saw how cool it was they told te boys that they could be in their club. I thought that was so funny! It was lots of fun. Although Tyler and I both agreed that it is really hard to sit down realx and really visit with 5 kids.

I just had to capture. Andra was playing with her hosre and th table and Layton just walked up behind her, stood right behind her and put his arms around her and played right with her. Isn't that so cute. Really thought how could he resist Andra with her long eyelashes and tose cute curly locks! I love this picture.

The coveted Teepee.

Utah Trip Part 1

We had a wondeful time in Utah and LOVED every minute we spent there. We have been home for a few weeks now and I am just now getting to posting. I think I have a new meaning for FULL-time stay at home mom. I decided to stay up late to post this I never seem to be able to get to it during the day.Now I am wondering why on earth I didn't stay longer with the kids. They had so much fun playing with their cousins and I had so much fun spending time with everyone. It really wasn't enough time as usual.
But we did have fun!
These pics are at the Dinosaur Park up Ogden Canyon. The kids had a blast!! WE also went up to Park ity for a few days and stayed ther with my parents and brother Charlie. But mostly just hung out and played, which is what I really enjoyed the most!!

The 3 newest additions to the Jensen fam.Kinsley, Caleb, and Madison. Too bad little Emerson hadn't arrived yet. I would have loved to get a pic of all the babies together.
We were lucky enough to be able to be there when Caleb was blessed. I forgot my camera. He looked so sweet all in white and received a wonderful blessing from his Dad.

The Results Are In!!!!

As many of you already know, we kept guessing as to whather our twin girls were identical or not. They look alot alike, but the only real way of knowing is testing their DNA, which is expensive. However Tylers brother Ryan has expertise in genetics and works in crime labs sohe said he could test our girls to find out. We were so excited, we got some swabs from Ty's work and got samples from each of their cheeks and made sure to label them to keep them straight, and sent them off to Ryan.
We just got the results back and.....

... they are IDENTICAL! It is so fun to know!! Thanks Ryan!

Sydney's Gymnastic Recital

On Tuesday our little gymnast showed us her stuff. It was so much fun to watch her show us her talent she has been working on with her friends. She really enjoys gymnastics and we LOVE watching her. Which we actually got to do because we had our friends The Walkers watch the twins and we took Layton and Jackson. Tyler and I were joking that a couple months ago we would't have considered goign out with 3 kids a break, but now we do! It's all about perspective. Anyway it was an fun night!

2 months old!!

It is hard to believe 2 months have already past. They are growing fast. At their dr. appt. on Thursday Kinsley was 9lbs 9 oz., and Madison was 9 lbs 7 oz. They have both started smiling at us. Which is so fun and sweet to watch. They are growing perfectly and are healthy.
Tyler has informed me several times since finding out that we were expecting twins that we are done. I am not so certain, but in any case as I look back at how quickly my other 3 have grown I just wich I could slow time. I love cuddling my babies, I love the sweet little newborn baby noises they make when they are eating, I love adoring them in the peaceful slumber ,changing their diapers just in time for them to poop on everything before the new diaper is on (it can be frustrating, but really it's funny, I have to find amusement in becasue it happens alot with 2).
There is so much to be happy about. And although I feel overwhelmed at times, and wish I had 4 more arms, really more than anything I feel so much joy in these little ones. I really love being a mom!!

Happy Birthday Layton

Layton's day started out with his requested birthday breakfast of green chocolate chip pancakes. Then he went to joy school, and after school Jackson, Layton, the babies and I went out for cinco de mayo bowling. I was a little nervous about how this would go, but it worked out perfectly the girls stayed asleep the whole time and we had lots of fun, I just wish I would have remember the camera to take some picture of my little bowlers. Layton even bowled 3 strikes (with the help of the bumbers).
Then during and afternoon naps and in between feedings we wokred on Laytons birthday. He kept changing his mind on what kind of cake he wanted either batman or a volcano dinosaur cake. but when he received some toy dinosaurs from Grandpa Craig and Grandma Terry, a dinosaur cake it was! He also request he had green hot lava and green frosting! Can you guess what Layton's favortie color is. Layton invited the two families we do joy school with over for cake and ice cream which was great, the kids loved running around and playing and we and some extra hands to hold babies. We had a great day!
It has been a delight to watch Layton learn and grow these past 4 years!! He has such a tender heart and is so sweet. He tells me many times throughout the day, " I love you Mama!" He is so patient and is a peacemaker. He really likes to make othes feel happy. he loves to ride his bike or scooter, play basketball, baseball, duck, duck, goose, any game that requirs running around. I love my little Layton guy!
