On Friday morning I took Layton and Jackson to Urgent Care becasue their doctor did not have any appointments available, which I really hate going to urgent care. I mean why to they really call it urgent, because you have to wait FOREVER to see the doc. They both had bad colds, Layton was complaining about his ears hurting and Jackson was wheezing.
While I was waiting for our turn Jackson and Layton were both crying and I was doing my best to try to comfort them when Layton started throwing up. I quickly put Jackson down and picked up Layton and ran to the bathrooms. I could hear Jack crying in the waiting room, but I had to help Layton clean up. We had to take off all his clothes and borrow an adult size hospital gown. Lucky for me a sweet lady took Jackson and held him for me as I tried to clean things up best I could. Then I saw Gayle Mortensen, a woman in my ward, she offered to stay and help me while her husband filled his prescription. What a blessing! She stayed with me through my whole visit, which was so nice since both boys cried through most of it. She even called to check up on us the next day. I am so grateful for good friends while we are away from family.

I feel your pain. We've had to make a couple of visits to the urgent care since we don't have any health insurance while we're in montana. Its not fun. I hope your kids are feeling better. Thanks for changing so we can see your blog, super cute! It will be fun to keep updated on your life:)
Kristen-
Wow! So good to hear from you and see your cute family!! Your little girl looks just like you! Are you guys in the military? We are at Ft. Benning, GA right now. Anyway, lets keep in touch! Good luck with the sick kiddos-I know how that is to be far from home w/o family-thank heavens for ward members and kind friends!
No fun! Poor Layton and Jackson, they must be miserable. Which makes for no fun for you, either! Sorry it was such a mess, but I'm glad that there were people there to help out. Maybe it will be fun to laugh at in the future!
By the way, your blog looks so cut
THat's nice that there are people to help you out Kristen. It's a bit of inspiring story. How are your kids now? YOur a good mom.
